Why is launching a podcast not the next BIG thing when you work at the Enterprise level? 🎙️
Let's be honest and drop the 🐮💩 .
Podcasting is a way to build relationships. The content and insights people hear on the podcast are the key to growing a podcast, but relationships in B2B have a higher ROI 💰.
Lately, I have been following the scene, and I concluded that in the sea of sameness, podcasts blend into a big grey mass.
Same and same safe questions. In very few cases, I see hosts digging in and asking uncomfortable questions, which will be the golden 🎟️ for the audience.
The guest wants to look nice and not lose their professionalism, gain in reputation and not lose. This often brings to blandness and shows made just for the checkmark 😒.
Especially in pharma, I see a lot of podcasts are merely some ego scratchers. A high-level enterprise guest comes, and all they do is superficially talk about themselves and how great their company is 😂.
There are no insights in it.
This brings me to the point: if you are starting with podcasting and you want to do it for the audience, do not invite C-level executives 😉.
It will be good for you because you might build some relationships, but it won't be good for the audience.
Anyways, have you checked my podcast? I promise we ask the juicy questions 😂😂 Link in the comments! 🔗
