While working on a project, I noticed market blindspots in data quality, particularly in B2B outreach.
When we first started, we had questions surrounding how they acquired this data and its quality. And we did a little bit of digging 👀
Currently, enterprises like Seamless AI, Zoom Info, and Datanyze are popular options in the market. The ways they acquire data is from third-party vendors that track if a person has engaged with X content for X amount of time.
This data collection method is the playbook for many markets, but there is a data blindspot for Latin America and Asia 🌎.
The reason? The data they offer for these regions is often unreliable. I've personally experienced this struggle while developing go-to-market strategies for Latin America.
The problem? 🤦♀️ These markets have lower digital content consumption such as ads, banners, and white papers. Making it more challenging for suppliers to monitor and track engagement. Additionally, the demand for this data is not as high as in more digitized regions.
🔥 Burning Question: Where do you source your data from this market, and more importantly, how do you ensure its accuracy?
