When should your first #junior marketing #hire be?

Why?
Very often #startups and smaller companies think there is a correlation between the number of people you hire and success.
Successful companies have a lot of employees, they think. Let's hire more.
How do I hire junior #marketers?
The top skill I am looking for is .... tadam tadam ... #copywriting.
The person I usually train for a junior marketer should have some talent in #writing good copy or ... use @copy.ai masterfully.
Second, is, I would like the person to improve. To test that I usually pay them for 2 days, then a week of work. That way I can see how fast they develop.
The more we #progress the harder will be the tasks.
Finally, when is the right time to hire?
When you have a #strategy in place!
Believe me or not a junior marketer won't know what to do if there are no strategies in place. They will work better if you have playbooks, like the ones @andrei zinkevich creates.
Once you have a solid ground and the playbook is followed by your marketer, it will be easier to build on their creativity.
