What is the difference between a #go-to-market #strategy and a #marketing #plan?
First of all, these are 2 sides of the same coin. They both have marketing in them.
The difference is in the marketing #scope.
When it comes to a go-to-market strategy it involves all the departments besides marketing as well, as sales, product, and customer success.
It is fairly popular among Product Led Growth companies because a part of the marketing is led by the #product itself. Some marketing strategies are a combination of product + marketing. This is called product marketing.
When it comes to a marketing plan, we mean a silo, because the marketing plan, is led by marketing and is executed by marketing.
Of course, every #organization understands these topics in its own way.
