Want to be efficient in your marketing operations? Loan yourself some kids 👶 .
Just kidding! In the early 2000s, a study surrounding office productivity showed that the more overloaded 🏋♂️ with work you are, the more of a 🏆 successful marketing operator you can be. This research answer the following questions: Who are the most efficient collaborators, why are they the most efficient, and what can they teach other colleagues?
The results were shocking: multi-kid and single parents got the most work done 📝 . Their managers tended to give them promotions more often and offer them the most complicated tasks. Why were these parents so productive? They knew they had pressure from their children, colleagues, and other responsibilities.
You know what they say: if you want a complex task done, give it to the busiest person in the workplace. Metaphorically speaking, the pressure created 💎 diamonds of efficiency out of these people as they knew they don't crack under pressure.
I will leave this question soak into your mindset. If productivity = load work: How can we avoid burnout?
As a bonus, you can read more on this topic on "Who not How," a fantastic book recommended by Peep Laja and Andrei Zinkevich
