Unpopular opinion.
Although in #Pharma you have those presentations that are very flashy and nice and they look good, when you actually get to the point where you want to have some giveaways, you want to have some Excel files sent to the audience, for example, new ways to measure territories and impact or brand awareness.
You hear crickets and apparently every pharma company is an island :(
Nobody gives away anything besides swag.
How do you learn then?
I want to learn something, and I have no idea how #Pharma learns about each others commercial practices.
Pharma's commercial have to talk some sort of common language and they have to be more transparent but this way it creates silos in several companies and there is no facilitated learning within the industry.
So although I'm seeing a lot of very good conferences in Pharma, I do not see anything good coming out of it because of this particular problem. No giveaways, no measurable outcomes, only smoke and mirrors and some networking in between.
I wish I could have some giveaways that could move the pharma business forward and it should start with the speakers from the recent Next Pharm or Reuters or DUPHAT_UAE
How does pharma learn? Maybe I am missing something?
