These reports are meant to promote Hubspot’s marketing and their point of view, did they mention in the report that they lost 30% of traffic or more bc they have a ton of mediocre content and ranking on everything from crm to bill automation.
Just finished an article from the prophets of NFX and James Currier, same stuff, teams have to be in the same room, bla bla, remote dead, AI future. All these reports imho are freaking unobjective and pull an agenda behind that is (hello hello) good for them, NOT for YOU, dear marketer or founder!
They are written for other marketers who will pat them on the back and say like in that gif “all is fine”.
Nobody disagrees with anyone, just be a good boy and follow the rules.
I think as a marketer and founder my desire would be to gift everyone a little less complacency and a bit of more “think for yourself beyond the hype”, spirit.
