I will tell you a story.
One of my ex-clients was an exciting #startup in a fast and well-developed industry. The company existed for two years before I joined, and a few marketing leaders also changed.
The systems were supposed to be working.
What was my surprise when I found that:
The #Google Analytics Tag in #Google Tag Manager was not installed correctly, so the system was getting erroneous data.
Nobody ever installed #Google Search Console, even though the website was generating 50k a year in visits.
There were no events in Google Analytics; all hope was on #Hubspot, which is suboptimal.
In short, if your basic systems, tracking systems, are not done right, your go-to-market #strategy, your marketing spend, and many other things will go wrong.
Dear founder, Do yourself a favor and #invest in setting the basic things right from the beginning.
