The biggest mistake most companies make is ....
Underestimating how much demand the company will need to close 6,7,8 figures in revenue.
I always hear, this well, we close most of our leads in Q4, what happens in Q4?
At least 40% of those leads automatically translate into Q1 next year.
Because why?
Well, not interested enough, budget, blah blah.
My answer: Should have created more demand in the first place!
So when I see a role delimitation like sales does only demand capture and marketing does demand gen, my head is about to fudging blow!?
Don't we all have sales targets?!
Demand generation is a company goal so is revenue.
