Sunday marked another milestone for Saudi Arabia's growing startup ecosystem.
I mentored at the official launch of Misk Foundation and MISK Launchpad - a platform that takes Saudi entrepreneurs from idea to MVP and beyond.
The numbers tell the story:
→ 300+ startup founders in one room → 10+ different industries represented
→ Average founding team age: 28 → 73% had never built a product before
But here's what the numbers don't show.
The hunger in their eyes. The way they leaned in when we talked about the program launch. How they scribbled notes and asked questions about their product, prototyping, and sales.
One founder asked me: "How do you market and sell when you don't even have a co-founder?"
My answer: "The same way I helped startups close six-figure enterprise deals. You don't sell your size. You sell your solution."
These conversations reminded me why I chose this path. Every startup I work with faces the same challenge: turning great ideas into revenue that scales.
The Saudi ecosystem keeps evolving. Programs like this have been building momentum since 2019. Yesterday, we had founders building everything from AI-powered logistics to fintech solutions for SMEs.
This is just the start.
To the founders I met these days - your ideas have potential. But potential doesn't pay bills. Focus on the fundamentals: find your first paying customer, then find ten more just like them.
The talent I saw gives me real confidence in what's coming next.
Thanks to Timur Daudpota, Iuliia Chernenko Tiffany Kim for the opportunity!

Ouf That quote response is powerful. Absolutely, you don't sell your size. You sell your solution. You sell the dream and the end goal. Not the fact that you have 50 developers helping you achieve it. Is it a nice addition? Absolutely. But it's not the full story
