Sometimes, generating meetings through lead generation is the most efficient thing you can do in marketing.
I had a recent case when I opened my eyes and saw 👀:
👉🏽 The demand in search traffic for the product was 70 searches a year. Considering the long tails, it would show 300-400 searches a year.
Social would show no signs of life. Meanwhile, I would know as a fact that the TAM for this product is 100+ billion dollars.
💥 Spoiler alert! It's an enterprise product, and people buy through connections and conferences.
⏰ What did I do short term?
Considering that putting together a strategy and executing web events with some outcome will take at least 5+ weeks with unpredictable costs and no guarantee.
A good, efficient multi-step ABM campaign that will capture the attention of busy enterprise directors will take at least five weeks to deploy.

👉🏽 Hire several contractors who are good as hell in scheduling meetings.
Yes, it's not ideal, and I don't preach that 🤷
BUT
Marketing has to be efficient, and sometimes, you have to change your mind 🧠.
