My journey into #growth #marketing started differently than most. While many pivot into marketing later, I knew from day one this was my path. Growing up in an entrepreneurial family, I was drawn to the science of business growth early on. The real turning point came in 2013 when I discovered Sean Ellis's work on growth hacking. But something was missing - the tactical, practical side of things. Then came my pivotal moment in San Diego. Meeting teams from HubSpot and Skyscanner opened my eyes to what real growth marketing could be. Beyond frameworks and theory, I learned the nitty-gritty of: • Data scraping • Early-stage LinkedIn tactics • Email automation • Technical growth stacks Back then, cold outreach was gold. You could achieve hockey stick growth through smart email campaigns. The landscape has evolved dramatically since then. Today's growth marketing requires: • Deep channel expertise • Advanced attribution modeling • Cross-functional collaboration • Strategic thinking The fundamentals haven't changed, though: #Test rapidly Measure religiously Scale methodically Takeaway: #Growth #marketing isn't about quick hacks anymore and it never Freaking WAS! It's about building sustainable, repeatable systems. The best growth marketers are part strategist, part technologist, and part analyst. Want to discuss your growth challenges? Let's connect.
