Most of us assume hiring a tough salesperson makes us more money.
But that's only true if we are already generating pipeline efficiently, aka if people are their own hunters and can generate meetings. If we’re not, it can mean a huge amount of wasted time and money.
Extremely successful companies work in the following way:
Product → Marketing or Building Demand → Sales
1. Build a great product
2. Invest in Marketing to generate demand
3. Invest in Sales to convert that attention into revenue
There is no VP of Sales who can save you if your product is terrible or you don’t know how to generate meetings.
This is extremely important for Scale ups. You won't be able to grow fast if you don't have a good basis. Invest.

→Your " brand product' accelerates its 'bad quality ' even faster..
→And when people get to know it, you are gone
