Marketing operations are brutal.
In my small chit chat, we try to find out with @adam why #marketing operations are the ugly duckling of marketing and sales in #b2b companies.
My opinion is the following:
Companies ignore #operations because they don't matter now, but when they start to matter, they still think it is fixable.
That is very far from the truth. Why?
Wrong qualitative or quantitive #data you are gathering from the very beginning.
For example, your #analytics being set wrong can lead you and your company to a great deal of failure.
What if your #website does not track purchases in the right way?
Just count the amount of damage you can receive.
What if your top-performing source is not organic but some other #effort you implemented and considered a total disaster?
This is all marketing operations. Set them right, and do the right thing.
