Marketers and founders, how do you define the operational priority for your work?
For example, when it comes to #marketing execution, I use my dear friend Andrei Zinkevich's advice, looking into the #Eisenhower Matrix of priorities.
Personally, for me, the biggest struggle is the second and third #quadrants.
Quadrant 2 Not urgent but important tasks
Quadrant 3 Urgent and not important tasks
The theory says you should delegate urgent and not important #tasks. But it would help if you always started with important tasks first. That's what my friend Andrei excels at.
Sometimes when you get entangled in the daily execution, you mess up the #priorities so badly that you start with an easy task to feel good that you've accomplished for the day.
Not the right thing to do, but getting something done feels so sweet in the morning, even if it is a small thing.
