Like how do you go about generating these content ideas? So do you create your #content plan?
First, when I look into a company, I need to assess whether this is a sales or product, or #marketing-led company. We're talking primarily about #b2b here.
You would be amazed, but that does take its toll on the content type and who will define it.
If the company is sales-led, I will start with #sales enablement content, presentations, battle cards, and #business cases that would help sales here and there close the deal.
Some of it will find its place on the blog.
You get the gist; the content ideas here will come from sales. Sales #conversations, customers mentioning an issue they experience, that's why it is good from time to record your sales calls and transcribe them.
When it comes to Product - Led and Marketing Led companies.
Starting with the fact that 15% of Google Searches are new searches, you can know that the 0 - the volume keyword you see in Keywords Planner is incorrect.
You can still get traffic and money if you write on that keyword or topic, and Jesus! Rank #1 for it.
Wild ideas are welcome; when I run out of ideas from Sparktoro, Keyword Planner, and Customers, I turn to Quora, our product department, Facebook groups, and sometimes slack communities.
I wish you happy gold idea digging and outstanding content.
