I like Alex Turnbull's method here. Cold mailing is not dead but it has a few important components. 1. You better have product-market, but not even market, I would rather say messaging-market fit, even if the product is not ready, if your messaging is right you will get into positive replies and conversations with buyers. 2. You have to optimize the hell out our your clusters. Yes, when you create cold mailing campaigns you better use an ABM approach and clusterize your leads based on the perceived pains-gains they have and not size, budget, location, etc.
