I hate spamming and unsolicited #cold #emailing, but sometimes it works.
Let us turn to the rule of big numbers. If you spend 10000 #emails a month and your client's #LTV is over 20000 USD, sending cold emails makes sense.
Of course, you have to be quite resistant to listening to constant "unsubscribe me," "where did you get my email," and "never again."
How it makes it hit the mark:
1. Make sure you use targeted #contact and #account #data.
2. Personalize
3. #Follow-up is your bread and butter.
4. Be creative - Try to be disruptive. Be imaginative. Cold email is about finding that angle that no one thought of (or few did). A lot of #prospects prefer jokes. Maybe send over a #joke. Don't sound like the same old boring salesperson trying to sell to you.
5. Don't bet on one channel - Cold emailing still works, but is it enough today? Hardly. Combine cold email with #social #outreach like on @LinkedIn and @Twitter.
6. Sound #human in your email - I remember one of my colleagues used to read cold emails out loud. If the general people don't like its sound, you need to go back to the drawing board.
