I am struggling a lot with my #personal #brand. My problems are:
1. I am overly emotional and intense for most companies which tend to have too much bureaucracy in place
2. I am direct and i swear in regular talks
3. I don’t want to hurt the companies (their brand) I represent with my unfiltered feedback and speech.
So i relate to Gary Vaynerchuk a lot.
Recently someone told me that I am more relatable when I swear.
Questions:
Are people who are swearing more relatable?
Should I continue filtering myself or let it be.

Mariam Joui I believe authenticity is more valuable than ever, but we need to test to find the right amount. If I shared every thought that was in my brain all the time, some valuable clients might not take me too seriously!

To me: swearing or not swearing isn't the issue. What is said before and after swear is what matters. If it's valuable I'll listen to you. Someone can say the "dumbest " stuff without swearing and i won't pay attention to them.
Swearing is a sign of authenticity, not value.
That's why I think "thought leader" is a better word than "personal brand" (at least in most professional environments)
