How you can scale your influence at an event on a budget!? Real case!
Years ago I was consulting a company in the tech for fisheries space.
The company was going a conference in Norway, where the entrance was paid and it was quite expensive around three thousand per ticket.
We could not afford to flood the halls, lol.
Wanted to make it ROI positive so instead of buying a big booth, we we went to the local student community and we printed 50 T-shirts and we asked students to wear those T-shirts and cruise the streets around the conference venue for the whole day.
They wore those shirts in turns. Had a little bit of money left, which we spent on car foil with the company logo and we hired drivers to ramble the streets around the airport and conference, paid for their day fare.
It all cost way less than buying a big ass booth worth 60000 usd.
So when people do ask me, have I seen what Salesforce did to Veeva Systems in Madrid, I told him I could do better with less money.

Claude Waddington I used geotagged ads when they were not trendy, i remember how we played with facebook and tried to narrow down the streets close to the conference venue. It works if there is a huuuuuuge event and you want to make a splash but it is hardly quantifiable if your focus is sales only. Thanks for the kind words. Much appreciated!
