Here is how I was scammed 1 500 dollars by appointment makers
Just like many of you, I was approached by a sales agent (Shahid Khan) of OxygenMedia with promises of high-quality B2B appointments. I was tempted...
The service had some red flags I wish I had identified early:
🚩 They guarantee 10 quality appointments x month
🚩 They had mixed reviews. Some excellent, some bad ones. I later found out they hired actors of Fivver to pass as clients and leave those reviews.
🚩 They asked for pre-payment
Now, I'm not saying all B2B appointment makers out there are scams, but here are some lessons I learned from my mistake:
👉🏽 Never front the cash.
👉🏽Dive deep into the people behind the curtain. Do they have the network to deliver on their promise?
👉🏽 Don't think of this service as a quick fix for your pipeline problems- It isn't.
👉🏽 High-priced product? Shift strategy and invest in creating demand - That's your real growth.
There is no special magic to fix your pipeline problems. Be cautious and think through your decision.
Has anyone else hired appointment-makers?
