Here are 8 lessons I've learned as an entrepreneur (the hard way ๐Ÿ‹๐Ÿปโ€โ™€๏ธ) ๐Ÿค Having a close group of entrepreneur friends to share success and failure with is crucial. Entrepreneurship can be a lonely journey and having people who understand what you're going through can make a big difference. ๐Ÿ“ข Establishing clear communication is a must when trying to get your vision across to both your employees and customers. This can be achieved through graphs, case studies, video meetings, and roadmaps. ๐Ÿ‹๐Ÿฝโ€โ™‚๏ธ Finding a way to relieve stress by understanding your stress patterns and replacing them with productive new habits is essential to staying productive and healthy. ๐Ÿ”‘ Finding an employee mix that works for you is key. I mostly work with freelancers and internal staff. Freelancers are more ambitious, and internal staff is more consistent. Having a mixture of both in your business is what I find the most effective. ๐Ÿ’ธ Value your work. Charging per project rather than per hour for me is more effective. This allows me to consider the value-added I give to a project outside of working hours. This includes time, research, and additional fieldwork. ๐ŸŽฏ Outbound marketing and sales tactics are crucial, even if you're a freelancer. Inbound marketing is not always consistent, so you need to be proactive in generating leads and sales to stabilize your business and ensure growth. ๐Ÿ“ˆ Constantly adapting your strategies and not focusing only on one stage of marketing, even if it's temporarily successful, is important to maintain a long-term growth mentality. ๐Ÿ‘จ๐Ÿฝโ€๐Ÿ’ผ Presentation is everything. When other businesses choose to work with you, their decision is not always based solely on your work. They also look at your personality, your copy, your online presence, and how you present yourself and your business. What are your entrepreneurial lessons? ๐Ÿ‘€ #entrepreneurship #entrepreneurshiplessons #marketing #growth

Most of us in the B2B industry are used to thinking of content in the form of blog posts, ebooks, and case studies rather than videos ๐Ÿค” Yet, there is a huge untapped potential, especially for SaaS products. Why? You can make a complex product easier to understand. ๐ŸŽฅ ๐Ÿ˜ฉ The challenge:ย  People have short attention spans, and we feel overwhelmed in creating content that's engaging, short, entertaining, and professional all at once. ๐Ÿ’ก The answer? Be clear on your objectives! Make video a part of your marketing funnel, employing strategies like product demos, tutorials, or explainer videos. Reuse this content to educate your potential customers at every step of your marketing funnel. And ultimately, remember it's all about storytelling! โ˜ Now there is a fine line between being salesy and authentic. Don't think of YouTube as a platform to sell but rather as a platform to connect and build a community. So, show the people who make the magic happen - introduce your team and humanize your brand ๐Ÿ’ซ The cherry on top? YouTube's immense data potential. Leveraging YouTube's AI and analytics tools, you can understand your audience better and refine your position, messaging, content, and targeting.ย  ๐Ÿ“Š๐Ÿ” ย If your brand already has a YouTube channel, drop it the comments, and let's support each other. ๐Ÿค๐Ÿ”— #b2bmarketing #youtubemarketing #youtube #content #marketing #b2b #storytelling #video #branding
