Business strategy in gaming A few months ago, #Diablo 2 was launched which  judging by the roaming posts from my friends, it did not pass unnoticed. Why did we love Diablo 1 so much? I think because of the cruelty to the player. Hardcore gaming with extremely hostile mechanics of stepping up your hero that did not forgive mistakes. If you were determined to play seriously rather than just spend a couple of evenings playing, you first had to run the game on basic and medium difficulties, normal and nightmare.  So then you could get access to "hell" - with the strongest monsters, total experience, best gear.  But there was one slight nuance. Your skills configuration that made it comfortable to play at low levels of difficulty made you absolutely helpless at high levels. At the same time, there was no opportunity to redistribute ′′points" to the right skill. Invested into the wrong skills and realized it after 30 hours of playing? Your problems, start over. This might be one of the best ′′ life ′′ lessons in the history of gaming. Some skills help you develop at one level of complexity (projects, relationships, business). Still, with the transition to another league, they don't just lose relevance but pull you to the bottom. Is there a skill that has been useful at one stage of your life and then has frankly harmed you? Inspired by D.Gridin
